No way through it but to do it!
Aug. 19th, 2019 07:23 amI mean, I could have tossed an 'OwO whats this?' up there, but let's not.
Hi! I'm Shadow, and I have no clue how dreamwidth works, so, uh, just bare with me for a few weeks while I awkwardly fumble my way through. I'll figure it out, eventually.
More relevant- I'm an artist and, at least theoretically, a writer. In practice, I mostly just roleplay in worlds of our own design with a group of friends, in a text based format, because writing's a lot more fun when you're doing it with someone. I often use my writing as a way to start to slowly and carefully unpack things I'm not willing to acknowledge yet- a tendency that started by accident but has turned out to be remarkably therapeutic.
My One True Trope is Found Family, no matter the fandom, and my favorite genre is either hopepunk or gentle fiction. Though any setting with superpowers is going to get bumped up on my personal favorites list, because superpowers and how they affect their societies is something I find inherently fascinating for a lot of reasons.
Aaand. Uh. Yeah that's all for now, because I can't think of anything else relevant to say, so!
